This great package includes articles in which openings are investigated by well-known grandmasters (the Gruenfeld Defense (by GMs Bagirov, Gipslis, Mikhalchishin, Sakaev, Zaitsev), Modern-Benoni (by GM Shipov), Trompovsky Attack, Benoni, Old Indian Defense and Queen’s Pawn Opening (by GM Gufeld)). It appears in a detailed and convenient classification. The program also includes an abridged version of Chess Assistant, so that no additional software is required, and for analysis you can use the built-in engine, Dragon, or enjoy its compatibilty with top commercial programs. A database with openings in question is enclosed (95,000 games).
You can add comments and print games.
If you want a program just to study openings and you are too busy to collect and enter opening analysis yourself, these Opening Encyclopedias are hard to beat for the price.
English and German versions are available.
